A good time of the year to take stock, look back at what works and look forward to what it is that can be achieved in 2010.
In the short term there is an early cyclosportive in February as well as a trail race on top of the Hautacam. Mid-summer is the Tourmalet Duathlon and the French long distance duathlon over the Col du Mente, twice!!
Looking back at 2009 it lacked consistency so a better training diary and selection of events is important.
Le Cabilat'Trail Race

Le Cabilat'Trail race takes place on the 14th March over 3 distances of 11k, 18k and 33k which has 633 metres of climbing. This is followed by a Paella meal washed down with local red wine. Sounds good to me.
