A good time of the year to take stock, look back at what works and look forward to what it is that can be achieved in 2010.
In the short term there is an early cyclosportive in February as well as a trail race on top of the Hautacam. Mid-summer is the Tourmalet Duathlon and the French long distance duathlon over the Col du Mente, twice!!
Looking back at 2009 it lacked consistency so a better training diary and selection of events is important.

Hi, just getting back to some regular training. It's funny how things get in the way of your routine. Well never mind with a positive mental attitude you can look forward not back and plan for the future while learning from the past mistakes. So these 2 months give me a solid base to get on with.
