Pyrenees Crosstrainer
No shortage of training opportunities here in the Hautes Pyrenees. Now I have plenty of time to train I wonder how I competed and trained for all the triathlons from 1986 onwards with a job to do as well.
So I must focus on what works best and race as and when I can.

Snow Races

If you fancy something different there are several races in Jan/Feb and March to whet your appetite in the links on the right. Trail running in the snow and a triathlon on the Hautacam, the Tour de France climb. Come out and enjoy the skiing as well as the local races.
A good sunday morning run with John Boyes and Robbie, his collie, in the sun and under blue skies. The downside was the snow, ice and dodgy icy road surface.
Talking of snow it has been good training inthe snow around the local golf course. I don't think the clubs in UK would take kindly.

A good weeks running with some weights and swimming thrown in. I thought it was going to be XC skiing but the weather and closed tracks put paid to that. Maybe this week will be better and if not it will be downhill skiing instead of biking.

14th-20th December

W51 Total: 6h:41m

Swim 20m 1.2km (5%) Run 5h:21m 61km (80%) Weights 1h (15%)

Only that is impossible which you have not the will to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
