Pyrenees Crosstrainer
No shortage of training opportunities here in the Hautes Pyrenees. Now I have plenty of time to train I wonder how I competed and trained for all the triathlons from 1986 onwards with a job to do as well.
So I must focus on what works best and race as and when I can.

8th to 14th March
A tough weeks training ahead of Sunday's Trail race with snow on Monday and also heavy snow forecast for Saturday. Very, very icy out running this week so opened my new box of Saucony Jazz 6000 which I have been usiing for years now at £34-95 they are the beat bargain for an off road shoe.
Its very motivating here when on a cold day a peloton of 16 rides past the house as happened yesterday.
The South of France and Spain have had the heaviest snow for 25 years in March and the week befor ethere was Storm Xynthia that came very close and damaged the ski resorts very badly before moving north and flooding the La Rochelle area.
