I need a structure for the next 6 weeks

Well I think I am slowly bring myself back into the habit of training, this week is the highest weekly mileage cover since last September (after the failure of getting to the Esplanade). However my biggest problem is because the main IM Wales training program does not start for another 6 weeks (20th Feb) the session this week after looking back at them seem not to have any structure to them.

For example the only swim session are what I felt like doing, but then again is that a bad thing at this time of the year. So the actual week training was

Swim 30 mins (9%), Bike 3hr 43 mins (64%), Run 1hr 06 mins (19%), Walking 30 mins (9%). So I think I should be setting myself a week goal. Even thou next week may not be the best due to work commitments I have to start somewhere, so lets think of a simple one to start.

So the first of the weekly goals is going to be completed 4 runs in the week. This may not seem much for me, but one of the areas that I identified last year was the number of runs that I had missed. Running is my weakness, so additionally this is part the plan this year ~ which is to wok on my weakness.

Will have a think over the next few days what will be the goals for the other 5 weeks before the full training starts.

So the 5 hours 50 minutes of training this is now the baseline set that I need to improve on each week.

So lets get ready for a busy week.
