Well in the two weeks since the Llanelli Half Marathon I have done a lot of think. Actually not sure if this is a good thing, because there have been quite a few negatives thought get into my head. The main problem that this is causing is me missing sessions, so before this becomes too big a problem lets get rid of them.

Putting them all together can I do anything about them, well the answer is a big NO, so as I was once told - forget them. After all I am waiting for others to do their thing first.

The biggest positive is when I look around other people of my age could not do what I am doing, so who has the problem. I have a good around me that do not consider that there is a problem and the encouragement from the coaches and member of Celtic Tri is more than enough ~ so thank you.

So now let look at the positives, the last few weeks my swimming is better than when it was when in my teens, so that cannot be bad.

For the bike, yes I have not really spent the time on the road that I need to, so a few long rides in the next couple of weeks is on the cards. Also when I look at my training I need to build some maintenance time for the bike. Why this is not included into any training plans out I do not know (now that an idea).

A positive on the run, is yes I am getting out there, as this is the one discipline were I have not fallen behind the training plan (not like the swim and bike). What I now need to do is build on my endurance, which was the main problem from the half. Another area I would like to have a look at is my form, I know there is a problem anyway, however is the anything I could do, will have to look into that one.

The plan for the next few weeks is to get back on track, and I target is to not miss any training time and get back into the habit. Also it has to be getting close to having regular open water swims as Speedo Eton 10k is only 10 week away.

Next Sunday is Sport Relief so will have to build something into the week.
