Operation Abba - The Reunion (Just #believe)
"Are you limited by your Challenges" or "are you challenging your limits"

I Live with a Neuromuscular / Spinal Condition and plan to 'Challenging My Limits' by undertaken a Swim, Bike and Run (well jog, well shuffle) at Ironman Kalmar in 2016.

In doing so trying to raise a few pounds for the Brain & Spine Foundation.

Unrealistic Program

A bit late writing the blog this week, but that is probably due to the fact that everything for the last few days is slightly behind. Work wise the last 7 days has been a lot and lot of traveling, it felt like most of the week was in the car. The knock on effect of this was missed session, which has put my pre programme plan into the negative, and I more than likely will not get it back looking good in the next 5 weeks before my Ironman Wales officially starts.

The week looks like this Swim 42 mins (22%), Bike 1 hr 20 mins (43%) and Run 1 hr 06 min (35%), so not a heavy week, and not really made my goals, So next week goals is going to total time training for the week ~ the target is going to be 6hrs for all disciplines.

Other news this week is that it looks like the organisers of Ironman Wales will change, and this I feel is not going to be good. In fact this could be the end of the race, as it will get compared to the first and if it dies not live up to the good name it achieve from all the athletes, spectators and locals than I think the event will die, which is a pity.

Anyway at present I am planning on the event going ahead, so have added two new sportive's to my calendar. Both of which are local to me, the first in March is the Sarn Helen, and this will be followed in July by the Merlin Ride. This will be the end of a very busy 5 weeks.

I think I may redesign the next few week and get rid of the originally planned sessions as they were sessions that were planned for stand alone events and not triathlon, which probably why they are getting hard to achieve. My plan B is to do the first 5 weeks of the IM programme and then repeat them at least it will be tri specific.

The other date on my agenda for next week is to see my Consultant over the bombshell from August which did ply with my mind in Tenby, so it will be interesting too see what has to be said
