1st Stage Tour Race!

IMnadineby IMnadineSep 3rd 2010
What a trip! We have some serious storms heading my country. Rain has hit non stop since yesterday afternoon, to this hour it´s still raining. Race directors weren´t sure whether or not to hold todays stage, to shorten it, postpone it in hopes of the rain would yield. 9 am was the official race time, it came along and it went by. They decided to shorten the race and start at 9:30.

I had brought my two pairs of glasses the regular kind which I would use if the sun came out, and a yellow lense. Yellow lense pair stayed in the car, really no help, with as much rain as it was pouring! It was an interesting experience to try to race and keep your eyes open!

There was a small portion of the road in which the rain stopped for a little bit. That felt great! Turn around point came along and as we headed back the closer we got to the finish line the more it rained! It was a crazy stage but it was fun! No accidents, everyone finished intact! Let´s see what tomorrow brings!
