Letting go - Recovery Phase Part 3

New Year's Day 2016. Ideally should be packing some running kit and heading off to run in a local 10k which has been my New Year's Day celebration (!?) for many years. Long term injury means this is another of the many things that have had to be let go over the last few months. Thankfully this process gets less painful as acceptance and understanding of the nature and length of recovery from the injury takes place. So, for 2016 goals, dreams and resolutions are very different than before. Recovery, however long and up and down that particular journey carries on being is the focus. However, there's no harm in keeping some dreams in a little bag, marked "Triathlon" just in case.................
