20 mile run and kendo

MarkChaoby MarkChaoFeb 19th 2012
Finished a 20 mile run which thus far is hardest thing I've done physically in my life. The 1st 15 miles went by pretty smoothly but around mile 15ish there was a rock I landed my right foot on which basically caused my whole right leg to be in pain for the rest of the run. Tried changing strides, jog/walk, and running on grass but nothing helped out all. Around mile 19 I believe I hit the wall and without any conscious decision I just fell to side and lay on ground for few minutes. My mind wanted to keep going but body was completely beat. Walking up the few stairs back home were the toughest stairs I've walked on. All in all a very interesting run which just shows I got lots to work on! Quick kendo at night with Yuki Kuroda though obviously due to the run I couldn't move much. Sorry for being so beat Yuki-chan!
