Hill repeats, TSD 1,000 punch drill + core workFound a much tougher hill than normal forest park skinker which is long but not very steep. A relatively short 200-400m hill that is almost 20% grade and grass in front of the St. Louis Art museum. Though shorter, it was really tough and only managed 10 repeats though I know I was pacing. Nina Cheong and Dan Mcfarlane both beat me on 1st two hill sprints and it just shows I need to work on my speed more. With some time before practice demonstrated some clean and jerks to Nina and Dan and glad to see not all my strength is gone as I was able to squat clean and jerk 135lbs though not as much as I could before. Then onto TSD for an awesome core workout of at least 100 with 10 lbs in each arm, and other variations of situps and pushups for about 1hr led by Leila Thampy. With a finale of 1,000 punches, elbows, and ridge hand strikes. Awesome day of mostly anaerobic stuff which I'll need come 4/28 for sprint triathlon | Previous posts Tags My Links Welcome to TriBlogs the free online training solution.Plan, record, analyse and share your triathlon experiences.
