Hill repeats

Man I have huge love/hate relationship with hill repeats. I'm ok running flats but any hill any time I always suffer. Able to keep what I felt was almost an 8min/mile pace going uphill for about 1k though after really, really felt it. BTW hate how I get super competitive and try to keep up with much faster and much better runners though I know there's no way I can keep up with them. Legs were dying at taichi/punch drills but so are shoulders from Sunday. Need to keep running these hills!
