Missed few days training for aikido, and met Chrissie Wellington Wendesday! :D

Tuesday and Thursday this week I spent training for aikido in preparation for testing tomorrow for 4th kyu rank. Just want to get over since I'm somewhat freaking about my swim for 70.3 as bike and run I have down but swim is iffy. Fit in short 8.5 mile run yesterday at easy pace of almost 10/min miles since this weekend will swim 4000m Sat followed by 40 mile bike then test aikido. Sunday will bike up to Springfield with group of friends and Monday will bike back at almost race pace for 100 miles. Looking forward to all the biking. Highlight of the week was hearing Chrissie Wellington speak, have her sign a copy of her book, and getting a few pictures. Was super inspiring and amazing how she's never lost a ironman distance and the one thing I took most was her night before mental prep. She said how only way she'd stop was if she'd break a leg which is completely reasonable, compared to my only way I'll stop is if I get a toe tag or body bag if I'm no unconscious. Maybe I'm bit too extreme.....first picture to add!
