15 months later, is it over?
It's been 15 months since my trip to the dolomites, mashing up my knee on the brutal climbs. 3 physios, 1 osteopath, 2 massage therapists, 1 sports physician and now a surgeon have tried to fix me. Is this it?

I had a knee arthroscopy on Friday so far the signs are that they have found the problem and cut it off! The surgeon found a lump of cartilage which he removed and some abnormal tissue? No idea what that means but all I care about is that it was there and now it isn't.

The operation it self is so non invasive that I walked (admittedly a bit gingerly) out of the hospital the same day. I won't find out for a few weeks whether I will be able to function normally again but signs are good :)

TriBlogs & Me
TriBlogs has been my pet project since 2005. It all started as a way for me to track my own training and I ended up sharing with my friends... the rest is history.

I write the code, test the code, debug the code, sing the theme tune... Sarah has joined the team now and she bosses me around on your behalf. If you use the site regularly and love it please help us continue by subscribing or by getting all your friends to visit the site!

On my blog you'll find my experiences attempting to be an athlete of some sort and my photo blogs of races that we visit for inspiration.
