Coaches Tools
by Oziem May 22nd 2009
I recently opened up the coaching tool on TriBlogs. I've been working really hard on this for the last few months. Basically it is a way to access other members plan and diary but there are added features to help coaches save time.

There are two significant features which are different to the standard TriBlogs. Firstly you can have a list of "generic" sessions which can then be copied to any of your athletes plans with two simple clicks. Secondly, there are week templates, here you can construct the standard sessions which each of your athletes regularly partakes. With two clicks you can insert that whole week into the athletes plan.

Also worth noting that while you construct an athletes plan they can not see the sessions. Only once you have selected to publish the sessions will they be able to see them in their plan.

See the FAQ section on coaching for more details.

To get the best performance on TriBlogs I definitely recommend this browser. See the below link for a short article on it's performance.

Plan DB Data Loss
by Oziem May 3rd 2009
Hi all,

I'm extremely sorry guys but I have been let down by my hosting service. We've had to revert to a month old backup of your plan data. The daily backup on our database has been for some unknown reason not been running. I can't believe it, I'm so sorry for the inconvenience this will have caused.

TriBlogs & Me
TriBlogs has been my pet project for 5 years now. It all started as a way for me to track my own training and I ended up sharing with my friends... the rest is history. I write the code, test the code, debug the code, design the database, manage the database, backup the database (regularly), answer emails, answer forum messages, design the pages, pay for the server all myself. If you use the site regularly and love it please help me continue by subscribing or by getting all your friends to visit the site!

On my blog you'll find:
- Details of new developments to the site,
- Discussion of future projects,
- Random dyslexic musings,

...and ofcourse my experiences attempting to be a triathlete ;)
