So, I am a swimmer turned triathlete!

Swimming is obviously ok, biking not too bad but needs some strength work, running is my kryptonite!

Cycle Time

I need to get my bike time up. So, I have had the bright idea of cycling to/from places like the pool and scouts. The local pool (swimming club) is just that and is a 13km round trip, did that last night. Tri Club, now that is a different matter....

The round trip was about 50km, the trip down was OK, but the last couple of miles on the way home were a bit of a mission - the route I took had a couple of good hills so will continue to do this when I am back in the UK in April. Hopefully the weather will be nicer and the mornings a little lighter by then too.

All in all, this will automatically get me near 140km per week - I could always extend on days where I have time too, or could turn into a good fast and short work out if I am running late!
