I try to tri....

So, I'm a relative newbie to triathlon. 1 1/2 seasons into the sport and still learning. Also novice blogger so hoping I follow the blog etiquite and don't upset anyone! (apologies in advance if I do).

I race only in sprint and super sprint evets. Love the sport and the variety. Started as a casual runner and would say that was my strength. I'll impart whatever tips I've discovered over the last 18 months to those out there new to the sport and wondering how to juggle a full time demanding job, parenthood and training / racing. It's not easy, but doable, just need to be realistic about your goals and you'll be fine.

Most important thing is to enjoy it, if you don't enjoy it, what's the point!

Totally agree, for me having fun and enjoying it is key :o)

Me too.. I only started this triathlon malarky last year and I'm loving it.... Also a father and family man trying to juggle family, work and life in general along with windsurfing, training and racing... It's all about having fun.
