So what's been happening since New Year...

Enormous hangover recovery (still blaming you Bisco for that, Tequila is henceforth BANNED until at least 2013) and some great Green Man Challenge recce runs. For the uninitiated, The Green Man Challenge is a circumnavigation (long word for a long day) of Bristol on foot, 45-ish miles, on the community forest path. Now it's not really through forests, not that much of it is on paths, and we didn't see many people. But hey it's a good name nonetheless.

The BAD Tri attempt is on March 21, so we've been out scoping the route and it's taught us a few things we already knew...

- regular breaks and walking up hills is the way to go faster and feel better in long distance running
- eat and drink all the time
- it's never as bad as you think

What else is new for 2010...

NLP continues with positively fizzy vengeance, although my course tutor has most unfortunately had a really nasty knee injury (like shattered knee-cap nasty) so GET BETTER SOON ZenBen!

Corner is noticeably turned with evenings being 30 seconds lighter. No practical effect on anything yet, but things are on the up and it'll be time for chain gang riding and going to bed while it's still light before long.

Also coaching my first spin session next week, so busily finding unexpected musical choices. So far Led Zep, Elton John, The Doors, Florence and the Machine and yes ok Daftpunk are making the shortlist...
