You are a lovely dolphin!

We're been trying out some visualisation exercises with swimmers in the last two weeks, and there are some signs that it's working...

Mr Bisco observed that those BAD swimmers who did breathing/visualisation exercises before swimming were noticeably smoother and calmer as they started their swim, which is good!

I've also noticed that taking just a couple of minutes to visualise either yourself, or someone else (like Messers Phelps or Van Den Hoogenband!) swimming well, helps to start off that "feel for the water" that's so important when swimming - particularly at this time of year when working on technique is high on most triathlete's list of things to do.

So if visualisation and is something you've not considered, give it a try!

The mind rules the body after all...or does the body rule the mind...
