Hello I am a former swimmer (about 15 years ago) turned Triathlete. Got into Triathlon in spring 08, as part of a get fit campaign trained hard all winter. Instantly got the bug & now starting to enter events.

a good weekend.

After a great weekend of weather / training everything seems to be back in the full swing of things. Saturday morning was glorious, got out on the bike & rode the 20Km Triathlon route from the other weekend. Managed to shave 5mins off which i was happy with but i still think there is more to come. Had a great lake swim also, there was a good crowd of us there on sat, which made for a very social swim. the water was lovely & still & only the fact i had had to get back to my daughter made me get out.

Had a great run at lunch today. did 3x 1.5mile timed laps of a route near my work, with 5mins recovery inbetween, managed to keep all my times sub 09:15 which was great, really felt it on the last one tho.

Got a tough session in the pool tomorrow night, then hopefully a pleasant long ride on friday afternoon. Please let the sun come back out!.
