Archive: March 2010 (Close) The Fresh Fatigue? I am still trying to gauge how hard to push in order to get the right amount of recovery time in, yet push myself muscularly as well as aerobically. I woke up this morning sore, but that, "I am ready to go" type of soreness. I am tempted to say it's the perfect, fresh fatigue... but I wont know until later. I have a long day at work then am taking a spin class for my cycle with Gregg Cook, here in NYC. Gregg gives a phenomenal class and then will run right up to the treadmills for two fast miles. I am interested to see if I feel as strong during my workout.
Well, workout was good. Max wattage during an interval 696, and 33.9 mph. Hope to break that next interval session. (Note to the tri world that isn't professional, how the !! did lieto average 35mph for the 14 mile TT with Lance on the Queen K. Good Grief. I felt the dead legs in the run half of my brick. At .5 miles it got hard, and then around 1 mile knees got creaky, then i relaxed and it flowed nicely. My coach has me doing 2 miles after my rides. I think one day this week, i have to do 4 miles after the ride. What kind of Brick distances are others training at? Mar 1st 2010 (1 days) | Archive Tags My Links |
