Training - Week 1...again...back to the beginnnig

After 6 weeks off, I'm flighting fit...well kind of, and 'chomping at the bit' to get back into it!

Still a week or so before I can get into the pool or lake (sad face!) but this week sees me back on the bike and run and loving this SUNSHINE!!

Monday morning started with an easy 7.7km run into work... really easy pace and was a bit stop-start... really unfit - its going to take some time before am back to the fitness level I was back in Feb! I ran back home (same distance) in the afternoon after work. Tough!

Yesterday (Wednesday) i got on the bike and 11km each way to work and back. Hilly sceneic route nearly killed me on the way home, but so glad to be back on the bike, its worth it!

Today (Wed) I am a bit sore...in fact very sore. My muscles have had a good old shock...I will rest today, and get plenty of protein on board, before I get back on the bike tomorrow (20km) and run on friday (7.7km)

LOVIN IT!!!

...and with new cycling kit to boot ;)
