Training- Week 25

I'm back! Realised that I need to feel mentally strong to muster the motivation to train...Havent worked out yet how to switch it on when I need it, but having had a mental spring clean and a lot of head-stuff bagged and off to the charity shop I'm feeling good to go again! So with a smile and a big 'f@&k you' to the world (no offence) I'm ready to get back on it :)

70km on the bike today and time to threshold test again on the run tomorrow and then....

.....Next week, we (royal we) work!...

Spectacular bonking!!

Not quite sure if it was the heat, wind, lack of breakfast or thirst, but I bonked in spectacular fashion today... Having stripped off to my sports bra to cool off and with little enough energy to walk, I am now a fully fledged member of the bonkers club... Aaah! So that's what it feels like!

Still, I didn't bonk til the recovery run so still got my threshold test done. Was a duff test though cos of very strong winds at Dorney Lake...so will have to repeat... Oh well! :)
