WEEK 2 PLAN

MONDAY
Rest Day

TUESDAY
5 Mile Plus Run ( 5 miles slow, 20 secs sprint, 2 mins slow, 20 secs sprint, 2 mins slow, 20 secs sprint, 2 mins slow, 20 secs sprint, warm down)

WEDNESDAY
Turbo session - 1 hour

THURSDAY
AM
Pools Swim - 1 hour
PM
6 Mile Plus Run (6 miles slow then sprints as above)

FRIDAY
AM
Pool Swim - 1 hour
PM
Turbo session - 1 hour

SATURDAY
10 Mile Run at steady pace

SUNDAY
AM
Pool Swim - 1 hour
PM
Road Cycle ride - 3 hours

WEEK 2 END

I started the week well and was enjoying my training again. I had lost a few pounds of Christmas stodge but unfortunately when I woke up on Thursday my throat was in tatters, I was aching all over and the lurgy had definitely returned.

The rest of the week has been spent shivering under a blanket so my training has suffered. I am hoping to return to normal at the start of week three so fingers crossed my totals will be slightly more impressive next week.
