Michael's journey to become half ironman

Rocky the Furry Training Partner - Raising money for ARUK & a Half Iron Tri

michaelpgallucciby michaelpgallucciJul 8th 2013
Just a quick recap for those who have missed my previous blogs. I started my journey in August 2011 with the stated aim to become a triathlete. Along the way I wanted to raise cash for Alzheimer's Research so I decided that a half iron distance 70.3 tri this year would be a good target. I enrolled for Stowe and I am well into my training in the pool and lake with SFT - Martin Bay and on land with Craig O'Toole I have been reading up on iron technique and hints on Andy Holgate's and my final and greatest training partner is Rocky our dog, who can out sprint me on my canal side training runs and is always up for a workout!
