confession - swimming technique
I have a confession to make.

Growing up in Central Europe, I only ever really learned breast stroke and no free style swimming. So I started to get trained only in the late twenties... With my 'stronger' technique being breast stroke, I have been breast stroking through many triathlon events (yes, I was the one smashing the arms in your face).

In 2005 I have been looking at an approach to properly learn free style swimming, which I have found in Total Immersion, which is basically an approach to swimming based on a streamlined position and body rotation with particular emphasis on breathing (which is my biggest challenge). http://www.tiswim.com.au/

So I signed up for an initial workshop. Unfortunately most participants were Ironman competitors working on improving technique, which I totally understand, however not the right environment for me.

My primary goal for 2010 is to do a free style boot camp in some shape or form. And be able to complete 1500m (in free style) by the end of the year.
