New sponsorship deal to fuel future success!

Having qualified for the Triathlon World Champs in Beijing next month (more on my own website:, I've been very fortunate to attract sponsorship for a new UK online retailer of sports nutrition. The guys at have been great at listening to what endurance athletes need in terms of fuel and recovery, and I'm really excited to be working with them to develop their product range!

PRESS RELEASE, the online specialist retailer of fitness nutrition and competition-legal supplements, has announced Matt Fisher, Great Britain Age Group Triathlete, as the latest member of its Athlete Partner programme. Under the agreement, will become Fisher¬'s supplier of sports drinks, nutrition and supplements designed to maximise race-day performance.

Fisher, who will represent Great Britain at the Triathlon World Championships in China next month, has only been competing as a triathlete for 18 months, yet has gone from novice to national age group team member, thanks to a combination of dedication, intense training and careful nutrition. Speaking about his partnership with, Fisher explained: ¬"It¬'s dangerous to under-estimate the importance of correct nutrition for endurance sports such as triathlon, where you still need to be very strong. I¬'ve already been impressed with Zelusi¬'s commitment to providing endurance athletes like me with high quality protein, carbohydrates and other useful supplements that enable us to train and race hard.¬"

Adam Willmott, Director at, added: ¬"Given Matt¬'s recent discovery of Triathlon coupled with his competition history to date, the fact he fits a 14-hour training week around a full time job and family, speaks volumes about his dedication and commitment to the sport. We couldn¬'t help but be impressed with his drive to develop as an athlete and we are proud to help fuel his potential. We¬'re really looking forward to working closely with him to continually develop the products and advice we offer to endurance athletes, which we see as a fast-growing part of the sports nutrition market.¬"

As part of the partnership, will publish advice articles on triathlon and nutrition from Fisher and their other athletes on the website, as well as other social media avenues such as Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. For more information and to follow Matt¬'s progress please visit his profile page at
