Goooood Day !

Great swim, 4 x 100m ( finger board, 6 3 6, pull bouy and full) x 4. Stroke felt easy and strong, very happy.

Good dy at work and got officials shadowing sorted.

Tyson came back from the bike shop. They were surprised I was able to cycle much with rotor rings set as they were.

Excited about ride, 4 x 3 on / off 6min recovery then 4 x 3 on / off, legs felt dead, but power and speed looked much better than the weekend ! Was Saturdays bike performance Tysons fault ? Come on legs , sort yourself out !

Hi Queballs.
Interested in what a 636 is, as I'm not a great swimmer. I've worked the others out.
queball1971by blog author: queball1971, Jun 1st 2012 07:40 ( this Link is from my iPad, so might need modifying or just type 6 3 3 drill into google)

I was about to explain, then thought it would be easier to see !! There is loads of good stuff on you tube.

The 6 3 6 drill has really given me more control over my stroke, probably more than any drill I have used.

I don't have access to a proper swim coach much, so i do look at the Swim Smooth website as well as you tube clips. I've watched Mr Smooth ( yes that is his name) and the real person a lot a nd try and emulate what I see. I have found trying to get the same sound ( when hand hits the water etc) has focused my long swims.

I hope this helps, I'm no great swimmer, but have improved a fair bit by doing these things oh and lots of practice.
