Second attempt at swimming

Now I've done a tiny bit of research on swimming I'm changing my training plan. My original plan was to just do lots of swimming but I'm thinking a more structured approach may be required. Somehow I need to get the breathing bit right.

So, now I'm swimming on my back at bit more and concentrating on breathing and staying calm and maintaining a balance. I've also found the floats, which I haven't used since I was at school, and am trying to strengthen my kick - up until now I would've just flapped my feet around a bit but apparently the correct technique is to use my size tens as flippers and kick from the top of the legs.. this actually feels the right way to do it but I keep forgetting.

I managed two continuous lengths today - so I have doubled my record.
