Booked ironman nice 2017![]() so go to get back in the groove, 9 months to get fitter/train/lose a few lbs Feb, worked to many weekends or was icy ![]() so nowhere near enough biking, tried to run more, pulled calf again and again, can run very slowly but as soon as creep up the pac, calf goes and I can't do anything for a week or so, so sods it, no running in march and see if longer rest helps, so ... Jan Training went to plan ![]() May be ambitious after last years injuries but these are my Events planned for 2015, which are all training for lejog in sept. Padoock wood Half marathon, 4 Ocean Lake sprints, Leeds castle sprint, Sevenoaks Race , Marshman, Hydepark & Hever Olympic... All I want for 2015 is to be injury free. ![]() I've been plagued with injuries for last few years all caused by a dodgy back, had injections that fixed things temporarily (up to 8 months at a time & managed to play some football & do a few races) but as the drugs wore off the sciatic pain got wo... 2 more PB's - 1st Oly under 2:30, does that make me a 220 ? ![]() Yesterday did the Birling Beast in 2:29:42 (1st Oly under 2:30) and was 13th out of 60,
7:08 faster than last year and all bits quicker too. 10th on the swim in 25:40 (never done a 750 under 13!) was 3rd on the bike, and 23rd on run
