Some sort of Consistency

Some sort of Consistency
Not a bad week of smaller runs just to get back into the swing of things. The weather has not been too bad so the running outside has been great. Shame I delayed going outside so long it got dark and I had to go on the treadmill. Next week, NO DELAYING.

Today my run was great. This was the route, 4 years ago, that took out my ACL in my knee. This is the first time back on this route since then. A great 17% climb and then a long steady descent back to the valley floor. I will use this route more from now on.

Shoulder is healing well. I have had 4 sessions of physio but the wounds were getting very red and sore. Then I found out why - the blind nurse that took out the stitches, actually had left some of the strand still in my arm. I flicked it and then pulled it out myself, over an inch long. Wound is now healing well.

So we are still on for our big challenge next year - a little less time to train now but no excuses, we will be on that start line in Bordeaux in April and we will get to Agde on the Med 8 days later.
