Did anyone do Bournemouth International?

Hi

Great race, great course, lovely weather, well organised. Nicest race I\'ve done this season.
Just one question. Did anyone else think the swim was more than 1500m? I\'m not the quickest of swimmers but I regularly swim 1500m in under 30 minutes. This one I was 34mins, and I wasn\'t having an off day. Or maybe I was!! I\'d be interested to see if anyone else who did it thought the same?
If it was 1500m then back to the dvds, books and pull buoys!!

I did the event but I did the sprint and I had the reverse! I put down my swim time as 16 mins as that is what I did in the pool at the Crystal Palace tri a few weeks ago, but I did the Bournemouth swim in 10 mins! was it really 750 metres ?

Excellent swim!!
I know they had some problems with the chip timing, but I\'m not sure about the swim section at all.
But that\'s with Conceptsport Events. They are very well organised, just they are quite sketchy sometimes when it comes to specifying distances, especially on the bike and run. But then again, everyone has to do the same so I suppose it doesn\'t really matter, other than it\'s nice to have an idea where you\'re at.
Shall certainly be there next year, hoping for the same weather conditions, just about perfect!

I know what you mean, being that its my first serious year I have no benchmarks to compare against other than the clock and each course is so different. The first three events I did this year were all in the rain so it made a nice change to do it in the sunshine.

Excellent event, well organised, well marshalled and an all round very enjoyable event. I will be there next year too.
