Granted this article is more for mountain bikes but road bikes and time trial bikes need love too!

Fantastic link thanks. I am a total newbie into Triathlons, maintenance and all things technical so this is a great way for me to learn the basics. I was of the opinion if I stared at my crusty muddy bike long enough the dirt might fall off itself...but now I have a pretty good plan on what to do. Thanks. Keep posting the links for us newbies. Sunday morning...bike cleaning for me!

I take my bikes to a drive through car self car wash and just bring degreaser and rags with me. everything is setup at the car wash so you dont have to waste time at home setting everything up. Usually can clean my bikes in about 30mins tops this way

Great link. I have to clean my bike quite regularly as I commute to work through some country roads on which not everything I cycle through is mud...

I've found that the best way to really clean it all is to take the chain and cogs off but then I can never really set it back up properly so have to go to the bike shop and get the gears realigned - major pain. Hopefully this article will mean that doesn't need to happen quite so often.

Or maybe I just need to get married to someone who will do it for me!
