Pyrenees Crosstrainer
No shortage of training opportunities here in the Hautes Pyrenees. Now I have plenty of time to train I wonder how I competed and trained for all the triathlons from 1986 onwards with a job to do as well.
So I must focus on what works best and race as and when I can.

Wow what a day. All the forecasts wrong and 25C blue sky and sunshine. What a great setting with the breakers looking like Perranporth in Cornwall. The water temp. in the marina was called at 14C but I found it no problem as it had been worrying me all week especially when I tried a session on Friday with wetsuit, first time this year, and it was freezing. It was a long way to drive and not complete the swim. So with a good swim then out on the bike and went really well so suffered a little on the run. Flat fast bike course then a 2.5k out and back run along the sea front. 67th/90, 1-19-49, 1st v5/6. Great day, result and now planning the next course.
