99.9 mile (Maybe around 100?) bike ride to Springfield

Finished an almost 100 mile ride to Springfield, IL from Collinsville. Was an awesome ride with Derek O'Chiu, Leila Thampy, Kristine Chiu, and Nam Nguygen with Kristine being the most surprising as she originally only intended to see us off and ride 30 miles but she kept going a few more at time and rode the whole way. Took a pretty tough spill in Mt. Olive, IL about 30 something miles into the ride and badly bruised right hip, scraped my calf up, and landed mostly on my right arm and elbow. Despite that was able to ride really strong and finish strong easily climb the rather short hills of IL at about 22mph pace in small ring at about 100rpm. I also reached a new top speed on flat when I went into full triathlon/TT position and reached average of 30mph on one of the roads into Litchfield. Packed enough GU for myself but unfortunately no one else really did so ended up handing most of mine out and just made it to Springfield when I was about to bonk. Awesome ride overall and totally up for doing something similar again!
