Thanks everyone for visiting my site, I hope you enjoy keeping up to date with my training, and my fundraising.

I plan on updating my training here every chance I get, so be sure to come back.

I will also have some fun facts, and stories to share.

2:00 AM.. Why aren't I sleeping??

Well, it is 2:00 AM, and I have a swim I plan on doing, and will be up again in just 6 hours. I should have went to sleep instead of watching a move!

Last night I had a running and strength training workout. We did a handful of drills after we stretched. Then we hit the track for 30 minutes of running or run/walking. After that we did some strength training, with different types of plank positions, squats, lunges, etc. We finished up with some stretching and called it a night!

On Sunday I will be heading out for my first open water swim of the season. The water is going to be pretty cold, although it will be nowhere near as cold as the Pacific will be in a couple of weeks. We are heading out to Aquatic Park in San Francisco on Feb 7.

On January 24th we will be holding what is called the "Loui Tri" in memory of a past participant and cancer patient who completed several Ironman Triathlons, even though he suffered from Leukemia. It will be a sprint distance tri. We are halfway to Kona and the Lavaman tri, so this is a way to get a grasp on how well we are doing thus far.

I will keep this updated, so be sure to make it back and check out my site! And don't forget, you can donate to help me reach my goal for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Click the link below!
