Next stop - the Outlaw So I've had 2 easy weeks doing some light stuff
The legs feel back to normal, (but i've done no long stuff yet) Outlaw training started today, (hmm about 3 weeks to go) so it will be 2 good weeks and a sharp taper for a week!! Tags: outlaw training Ironman Germany - war and peace race report So this was the biggie...!!

I guess I should have been really nervous, but I had spent 9 months getting here and so I felt as ready as I could be.... Taper Madness So tapering.......
In otherwords stop doing what I enjoy, so no more lunch runs, still try to swim, and do 4 bricks of decreasing intensity over the 2 week period.
Week 1 - a couple of swims, 2 bricks both of which were good. The second involv... Windsor Tri My wifes B race of the season, so I entered as well......
Always thought this looked great on telly, less convinced in reality though, especially as a newbie friendly race.
Anyway, still had a cracking time, except for the nightclub opposite th... Chiltern 100 The Build continues.....My first ever sportive!
107 miles of consistent ups and downs over the chilterns, ie up and down dunstable downs, wendover, princes risborough and everything they could find in the middle.
