Leybourne Midweek Race 1 / years training

Still had heavy legs from the Swashbuckler (thats my excuse for not going faster !) but had a go anyway. There where 37 racing and a very fast field, I came in 16th in 59:38 previous PB was 57:55 so not a million miles away.
550m Swim in 11:04 (a min off best time), 15k Bike in 25:26 (18 Seconds off best time) and 5k run in 23:08 ( minute of best time). Next race over there is on 8th June. I reckon I can knock 3 minutes off ( 1 min in each discipline) and come in under 57 at one of the races this year, the beauty of the leybourne ones is there's 5 in the series and you can make little gains all through the year on the way to better PB's, roll on the next race.

Below is training done in last year, I want to up the short intensive stuff for next 2 months before going on holiday for 2 weeks and undoing all my good work.
