Paddock Wood Half Marathon

Got there hoping to go under 1:40 and smashed PB by 5 mins with 1:36:02 and 7 mins quicker than last year, that book 'Run Less Run Faster' is defo working as I'm running less and Faster !!
Went off slow for 1st mile and the built the pace, had a gel at 5, was at 47:30 at halfway so on for 1:35 or faster if I'd done a negative split. Was going great til 9-10 and then started to slow, I should have had another gel about 8 by by 11 it was to late, that'll learn me ! plodded the last couple of miles thinking I'd up the pace for last mile but didn't have it in me.
I don't see why next year I can't knock another 5 min's off this
Had a few beers to Celebrate PB and now of the booze until after the London Marathon
Roll on London Marathon aiming for 3:30, we'll see !!!
